  1. Tire PSI not showing

I may be stating the obvious, but you have to drive for a bit before tire pressures can be calculated by the TPMS. It’s usually about a quarter mile of driving for me before the pressure readings show up.
  2. Emergency release from inside bed or kidnap-mobile

There is a tailgate release in the bed of the truck.
  3. Lifting and Jacking at local shops

If you remove the larger panels, any shop can lift the vehicle with standard equipment without needing to use the puck/s. The user manual shows the spots where the jack can be placed after panel removal. To prevent risk of shop damaging the panel tabs, might be good idea to remove them yourself...
  4. Registration Improvement!

It’s not necessarily state by state but I have not seen any Californians complaining about delays on here. I’m in TX and had a horrible experience but there were several other Texans that got all of their stuff very quickly at the same time I was in limbo.
  5. Issues using Alexa?

You have to be quick, but try rolling the volume scroll wheel (left side of steering wheel) up/down while Alexa is speaking to independently adjust the volume of the prompts. This has seemingly worked for me and I have had to readjust it back to adequate volume after every OTA update.
  6. Got My R1S Back After PPF

Honestly, I would not recommend factory ppf because the quality is likely to not be as good as a high end shop and it will be difficult to get little things fixed whenever they arise. Getting it put in while paint is virgin has its advantages, but knowing the people who put on the ppf has its...
  7. R1S Shakedown Road Trip - My Findings & Takeaways

From the title, I was expecting to hear a story about a scam involving an R1S. Enjoy your vehicle and nice write up.
  8. 21’ tire failed or something else !

All depends on how valuable your time is and how long you are willing to be unable to drive your vehicle (assuming you’re without a spare). I’d just order a new one from TireRack. I bought a 22” from them a while back and keep it in my spare well so that I can get same-day replacement at local...
  9. My (unfortunate) Rivian Story. In Shop For a Month and Counting

It’s telling when the manufacturer of an “adventure vehicle” tells you to not take their company owned vehicle out for adventurous driving. I love my RIT but have concerns about it’s durability as an adventure vehicle and it sounds like Rivian does too.
  10. E-mail from Rivian 9/30 announcing Key Band delivery

I’ll let you know after I have it in hand and see how well it works. If I genuinely won’t use it, I’ll send it to you for free.
  11. E-mail from Rivian 9/30 announcing Key Band delivery

Got same email this morning. Not sure why I have been pestering them about this as I doubt I will use it. Mainly just annoyed that others have been receiving them from the get go.
  12. Suspension - Is everyone's pretty noisy?

Spot on - the only time mine makes much noise is when the brakes (hold or manual) are engaged.
  13. Scam Rivian Satisfaction Survey

That guy was awesome in Buffy the Vampire Slayer
