  1. Android music apps that 'play nice' with Rivian infotainment

It comes with a 12v (lighter-style) to USB-C adapter. When I had the T3 Pro, I ran it to the 12v outlet under the center of the dash (early Gen1).
  2. Android music apps that 'play nice' with Rivian infotainment

So, back to my original ask (and strictly from an Android Auto perspective), the device adds a full CarPlay/AA interface (display), while using the Phones existing Bluetooth audio connection to the Rivian (once you select the phone as your source in the Audio screen). For me the functionality...
  3. Android music apps that 'play nice' with Rivian infotainment

Hmm, I forgot about the smaller footprint of the C4. Definitely seems like less of an issue than I was thinking. Thanks for the pic!
  4. Android music apps that 'play nice' with Rivian infotainment

I appreciate the reply. It's good to know there's something that 'just works'. That said, I'm pretty steadfast with wanting to play 'my' music. My typical commutes usually see cell service drop no less than 3 times. Having my stuff 'local' makes it somewhat less infuriating that the vehicle...
  5. Android music apps that 'play nice' with Rivian infotainment

Yeah, IIRC, EVPlay can't use the vehicle mic for AA so an external one is included (may be a Gen1 thing). I tried it in a few locations but people always said I sounded horrible on phone calls. I've seen other posts in the forums about it so I wasn't the only one. The Display Only Bluetooth...
  6. Android music apps that 'play nice' with Rivian infotainment

AVRCP set to 1.6 was the very first thing I did/tried (mentioned that). Album artwork wouldn't work without it, even on the Pixel.
  7. Android music apps that 'play nice' with Rivian infotainment

I know, I know... But you can't make me go back to that Tensor chip (and dreadful modems)! :CWL: Snapdragon 4 life!
  8. Android music apps that 'play nice' with Rivian infotainment

I hate to admit it, but I tried both. Based on your posts I first tried the Carpodgo T3 Pro. I wasn't happy with the extra device/screen because I was thinking of adding the Comma3/4; was worried about the clutter above the main display. Sadly, I let a buddy 'try' it. I don't think I'm getting...
  9. Android music apps that 'play nice' with Rivian infotainment

I recently upgraded from my Pixel 8 to a new Android device (Oneplus 15). I prefer to play the music which is local to my phone and, after setting Bluetooth AVRCP to v1.6, I can see the song info and album art. However, since moving to the new phone, I have no queue/playlist info on the main...
  10. 30% of the time, my 2024 R1S forgets to restore my seat position when I get in.

I find this happens (to my Gen1) if I get in before it has a chance to fully 'wake up' from a deep sleep. I've taken to either: starting the HVAC before heading out to the vehicle or at least unlocking it as I approach (even if it isn't locked). This seems to mitigate the issue 99% of the time.
  11. Would you still buy your Rivian today?

I'm on the fence. Pro's: I still I look forward to and love driving it. Still the only non-full-size truck that meets my requirements. The utility of the frunk and gear tunnel are beyond practical. Con's: I feel like the vampire drain is a significant (Gen1) issue. Yes, there are ways to...
  12. V2 Powered Tonneau Cover ($3300 installed) now listed in Rivian Gear Shop

Called and confirmed that my '22 (9k VIN) IS compatible. Just need to figure out if I want to be proactive and pull the trigger or wait for mine to stop working at an inopportune time. 🤔
  13. VION Giveaway: R1S & R1T Roof Sunshades and Air Filters

Very Interested in the R1T sunshade(s)! Thanks!
