You're likely aware of this, but just to make sure, you can get a prorated refund on most of these warranties, so if you only end up keeping your R1S for a year or two, but bought the five year warranty, you'll likely get a good chunk of your warranty purchase price back.

I'd be happy to be the 2nd owner of this once Nike/ACG is through with it... One somewhat surprising thing...they had a fleet of ACG-wrapped Rivian's at the Broken Arrow race last month, and I noticed that one they'd wrapped started life as Forest Green. Makes me wonder how these got allocated...

I've been bemoaning the lack of a height adjustable hatch since I got my R1S ~3 years ago...and been adding it to as many "feature request" threads, sites, etc. as possible, but nothing has come of it...apparently it isn't as much of a problem for a lot of people.

Kind of disappointed with this estimate. Current R1S owner, reserved at 10:02am PT. Saved config is an R2 Premium in Esker Silver with Black Mountain interior. Live ~90min away from a service center.

Tesla didn't start offering that program until the middle of 2024 (with an exclusion for the Cybertruck), arguably after demand start to wane in 2023. Rivian is still in its early growth stage. Maybe they could offer some sort of discount program on the R1 line, but unlikely to hit the R2...

Then you'll love this one...I've got one of the earliest 1st Gen Sequoias built (MY2001 manufactured in 2000), and that drop glass is working fine too.

Given the only reason I'm planning to go with the Premium trim over the Standard is the drop glass, that's obviously my favorite feature. My dream spec...a Standard AWD in Borealis with the drop glass and tow package for ~$54k. I think they've over-priced the Standard AWD trim by $1-2k when...

The most interesting part to me is this photo -- assuming this is Esker Silver. There are so few "real world" photos of Esker Silver...as far as I know, they haven't had an Esker Silver at any of the block parties...

According to this YouTube video, the Rocklin center is now in its soft opening phase (the RAN on-site is now shown in the Rivian app too). Apparently the official grand opening/ribbon cutting will be on June 13.
