I haven't taken one passenger in our Gen 1 where they could figure out how to get out, especially in the dark. Then they 'solved' it in Gen 2 with a button, which makes this even more hilarious.
yeah, none taken, just trying to respond with same sarcasm. My wife drives it as if it only had 100HP was my point. So its not a heavy right foot thing.
I am on my third set, just under 50k miles, wife driven car, so no wood block under accelerator needed, and wouldn't help the issue. On the last most recent replacement it has been louder or more pronounced clicking and poppoing noises from standstill and decell than ever before. Like the...
Matte, we don't have any yet, but several neighbors have Matte, and its been over a year, and we still like their look better than others we see, including our own. The real test is my wife keeps telling me she wants a matte on our silver. Its expensive for us right now. I was looking into the...
Does anyone know what these are and if there is some kind of service bulletin on sub frame replacements. Wondering if I missed some info but there were a lot of them lying around a service center and peaked my curiosity.
Sounds like hub bolt coming in contact with half shaft casing. That is the bolt backing out slowly thing. Its a thing, but you can identify easily by looking at back of hub.
I think the thread indicated its being worked on by SC now though, so let us know. YOu can ask them to get your pics...
Thanks for all the details. For any needing ideas, I use a 4 bike from Hollywood Racks, and it has been great. Its horizontal, so has little aero issue. Well made, but pricey...
Like above it totally depends on what you pay when. providers, I have SDGE, all have a different set of plans. Mine worked best to change to an EV plan, where everything was way way cheaper in the evening, and expensive during the day, but I had only some solar. Enough to run the house during...
I charged several different vendors, and just swiped a CC at the charger. You obviously pay a bit more, but I think the accounts are to get you into a plan. If its a one off it was pretty easy.
I found that RAN and Tesla stations never had me wait. Always something open. The vendors or cluster...
Phoenix service center was great. They were prepared with parts and staff. I dropped off using night drop off, and the next morning got updates as they were working on it that day, finished just after lunch. So at least the 'emergency' fix while I was in route can theoretically work. So shout...
I am fairly mechanical but it doesn’t look like you can access the bolts to reforge without taking the half shaft out.
can anyone confirm . I don’t mind buying a socket for it somewhere. I have a proper torque wrench with me as I always check the lugs on long trips from habit. Left over from my...
OMG, somehow I am a test subject. 1 mile from the grand canyon, I had massive hub bolt failure. I read about it here, and willpost a sepearte thread, but left front hub bolt backedout and started rubbing against half shaft casing. Crazy sound, called service, did tests, took videos, etc. Drive...
Well, nobody complained really, the guy who gave us the tow , randomly came to that mini mart to get a snack, said he had a trailer around the corner if I wanted a tow, I asked how many pounds is the trailer, and he laughed. 50 bucks he said, 5 minutes later we were on the road to the next tesla...
