  1. Passenger side window opened by itself at 3:30 am in the rain

As mentioned earlier, the app doesn't have an "open passenger front window" option - it's all vent or all close.
  2. Passenger side window opened by itself at 3:30 am in the rain

I'd like to think that the electronics in the Rivian are hardened to protect against this type of situation, but I suppose it's possible that it isn't: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Single-event_upset In a nutshell, a single particle from space strikes a sensitive piece of electronic equipment...
  3. WARNING!! EVBASE ISSUE

Guys, before you spend your hard earned money on cheap running boards, consider feedback on the vendor. EV Base has had a few sketchy things come up in the past with regard to their products (you can find posts here, on Reddit, and elsewhere) and how they've dealt with customers. The Branden...
  4. Windshield replacement - Safelite -- aftermarket vs OEM glass?

Just got back from Safelite in St. James, NY. As they were prepping the replacement glass, they discovered that the clip that holds one of the cameras was defective and they had to pick up a new windshield from the warehouse. They asked if I would prefer to wait or reschedule for another day. I...
  5. Windshield replacement - Safelite -- aftermarket vs OEM glass?

Odd that it would use the windshield camera to detect trunk obstructions - wouldn’t the trunk hood itself block the camera?
  6. Windshield replacement - Safelite -- aftermarket vs OEM glass?

Ugh. Guess I’ll be waiting for a while then.
  7. Windshield replacement - Safelite -- aftermarket vs OEM glass?

Funny you should mention that - after I thought about it I decided to bring it to one of their service shops by me so that they have full access to anything they’d need. My appointment is for Monday - I could’ve done a drop off for all day on Saturday but I didn’t want to just leave it for the...
  8. Windshield replacement - Safelite -- aftermarket vs OEM glass?

I guess I’m the newest member of the windshield replacement club. Safelite is coming out on Saturday to do the work. We’ll see how this goes. Are they capable of calibrating yet or will I need to go to Rivian?
  9. Found: keycard at flying J in Edon OH

Found on ground by the EVGo charging station. I left it at with the manager inside the flying J.
  10. RIVIAN Execs! Brakes stoped working in highway at over 76MPH

This is the most American thing I’ve read today.
  11. RIVIAN Execs! Brakes stoped working in highway at over 76MPH

Yep - the park button doubles as an emergency brake to slow the vehicle down before putting it into park once stopped. It’s electric though so I’d be curious to know if it would have responded if the normal braking system was unresponsive.
  12. RIVIAN Execs! Brakes stoped working in highway at over 76MPH

By the way - do you know if your trailer brakes (push in right thumb wheel while towing) were also unresponsive at the time?
  13. RIVIAN Execs! Brakes stoped working in highway at over 76MPH

Appreciate that sentiment, but your original post did not convey this. It was clearly a letter to Rivian Execs. As for them reading this forum, while that may be true, your situation is a serious safety and legal concern that they would not touch unless it goes through the proper channels...
  14. RIVIAN Execs! Brakes stoped working in highway at over 76MPH

Just some advice - this is not the Rivian Executive escalation channel. None of us can help you with your situation. Contact Rivian directly and if they are ignoring you, lawyer up.
  15. Current Travel Trailers / RVs you're towing - Reviews and Recommendations!

Looks like there’s enough of us Rivian Airstreamers to form our own ACI Intra-club! There were only two of us that showed up at ACI International last year - any of you going to York PA this year?
