As expected no VD overnight. Sitting at 135 miles which is the same as last night. Awesome way to protect my excess solar production now.

Here we go. Dual 12v batteries. Keeping this connected overnight. OBD route. I usually dip 5-7 miles every night. Curious what tomorrow shows.

Side question in this lengthy thread. For those that had dual 12v batteries replaced. Do they replace one with a capacitor or just two new 12v batteries?

This is extremely interesting. I have proximity off at home, however, when I step into the garage with my phone in my pocket it seems to wake the vehicle. Same thing with my key. Begs the question...does proximity off at home work well? A simple software update for Rivian is to nail down the...

This would be useful at home since I have proximity off at home to limit VD. Outside of the house I have proximity on and it finds my phone usually without issue. Do people just order any of the rings even though it only says for Tesla?

that's correct. Feb 2023 build. No issues (knock on wood) with the dual battery setup thus far.

Hey Rob - do you have any OBD2 to SAE adapters? I want to see if you can test the OBD2 method on a dual battery setup. I just checked my Rivian...and I'm a 3/23 delivery but have the dual battery setup. :(
