My 12v batteries were replaced about 1.5 years ago (three years of ownership here). I'm thinking I'll try the Ohmmu battery when this one goes. Regardless I'll likely replace it in the spring as that'll be about 2 years on the mini battery.
I have about 12k miles on my GY Terrirory tires since I installed them last July. My lifetime efficiency on my Gen 1 Quad R1T is 2.15 and that's a mix of city as well as long distance road trips.
I went with the 20" ATs on my R1T over the stalk 21s because there were replacement tires available. There were several people on here when the R1 first came out that had a flat and had to wait days to get a replacement tire. Since there was only one size in the market, you were stuck with the...
I switched from the stalk 20" Pirelli ATs to the the GY Terrirory 20" tires last summer. Before the switch I was getting about 1.95-1.99 for efficiency and since the switch I'm up to 2.15 on about 12k miles of driving. I've been pretty happy with these tires as they are very quiet (compared to...
1.99 is about what I got out of the stock Pirelli ATs in mixed driving so that seems to line up about the same. If I were to go with a new R1T, I'd likely go with the standard wheels (as I just can't stomach going through another set of those stalk Pirelli's). I'll be curious to hear your...
I just completed a round trip from the SF Bay Area to the Seattle and didn't use Conserve. The two times I turned it on right after a charge stop, the Nav showed LESS battery % & mileage at my next charge stop than using AP. I have a Gen 1 Quad with the OEM GY 20" ATs.
With my truck the...
36k miles on my 23 R1T. It was in last August for the infamous AC condensation making a wet floor mat issue, and last week for replacement of the front half shafts, ting washers, and the rear suspension recall. Once that was done, I'm now out on a 1900 mile road trip. Love the truck!
The next time it happens, press and hold your profile name on the center display (I believe yours is Woody based on the screen shots above). This will capture the logs for the tech to review. Also make a note of the day/time so you can point them to the correct log readings.
Step 1: Notice a tire is low.
Step 2: Pull into a safe place to inspect said tire.
Step 3: Locate the offending impaled object and plug the tire with the kit I always carry. You can usually do this without removing the tire.
Step 4: Swap the tire with the Rivian Tire Change Kit. If it can't...
I have had my battery replaced proactively by Rivian once in the past three years of ownership.
I too don't have an issue with lead-acid batteries as they are tried and tested technology. The problem is Rivian chose to put in a glorified motorcycle 18A battery into a vehicle with a high...
I usually charge when the truck gets to the 30ish % range. I normally charge to 80%. In normal driving I charge about 2x weekly.
If going on a road trip, I usually start at 100% or very close to it.
If I'm going to be driving extended distances in a day (100+ miles or so) I'll Plug in the...
It takes me about 1.5 hours to do a 5-tire rotation on my R1T but I don't rush it. That extra time is from start to finish and includes wrestling the spare out of the truck, doing the rotation, measuring the tread depth at each corner, Cleaning the inside of each wheel, and giving the brake...
My drink is perfect for groceries from Costco...deep enough to hold them without crushing the eggs and when I pull into the carport, the frunk is the closest part to the entryway to the house. The Frunk also holds my portable charger, and (depending on the trip when needed) recovery boards and...
I've generally been able to have the app open and at the to "swipe to charge" for my given charger, then plug in, and IMMEDIATELY swipe to charge. It seemes to work more often than not.
This weekend it didn't work as usual and the easiest way to verify if I'm getting the discount is to look at...
