My 2026 R1T Quad's Rivian app opens and closes my car when I'm taking out the trash twice every time I'm out there. But when I want the car to open -- when walking with hands full in a parking lot -- it refuses to unlock unless I put down all my things, and unlock my Home Screen (app is open)...

I was told with each one there were upgrades that would make my experience better. I love the company's mission and want to be in the Rivian family so I kept trying ... but I kept having major issues with each. So once lease is up on my 2026 Quad R1T, I'll be moving on... I'll come back once...

Very funny. I've driven for 50 years with no issues. My daughter was nearly hurt really bad due to faulty seatbelt. No blind spot sensors in dark on highway in rain... enjoy that? You're bordering on harassing or bullying so I'd be careful -- moderators could take issue.

What caused the crash? Were all safety features operating correctly? I've major safety issues with my Rivian. It's back in service... again.

Yes, I've had 3 R1T and am currently in a leased 2026 Quad that has had nothing but software glitches that create major safety concerns... side cam alerts for blind spots failed, front collision fails, passenger airbag fails, Universal Handsfree fails... so bad they need to take it into service...
