Lighten up Francis. You got us here with a note about a recall (one sentence) and proceeded to rant for a paragraph about your bad experience, some of which sounds self-induced. No sure what you were hoping to achieve.

When you turn it one, it specifically says it only works on soft sand or dirt. I'll pull screenshot next time I dare use it. Or maybe they revised this language ... just like they did with tire pressure recommendations, once people were getting stuck. Roll out shiny item, then curtail who and what I can / should be used for once it's reveals itself to be an Epic Fail. Sad.
Common sense?!

Didn't you say you were going to trade your Rivian in for a Tacoma and a BMW? Why you still posting about all the same issues if you've already decided to give up?

If they have been nightmares, why have you had 3 of them? One nightmare is typically enough for me to move on.
I like my nightmares to repeat at least 3 times 🫨

If you think a truck is unsafe because you do t have a blind spot monitor and can’t drive hands free you have some serious issues. Millions of cars are driving around without those nice to have features and are perfectly safe.

I just got my truck out of service, where it's spent more time than on the road, only to get a notice that it has to back into service due to a recall involving the breaking lights. It's been one nonstop nightmare. .......Sucks.
Definitely sucks, especially if you don't have a backup car or live too far from service centers. While there will be a lot of non helpful ridicule from others on this forum (and many others, turns out the internet deprives many of basic decency) who haven't shared your experience, it still doesn't solve your frustration.

I have had similar non enjoyable ownership experiences with other brands / luxury / ICE and EV cars too. The only solution was to trade them in and take the money hit. Money will not buy you happiness but will buyout your misery.

You may not know, but the OP has a history of posting about these issues. This is a repeat of previous complaints. Check out the threads he created before and you might see why he is getting some negative feedback on this one.

Yup. When I first got my 2022 R1T Quad I was told I didn't' have to lower tire pressure at all because each tire has it's own motor, and that gives it exceptional soft sand / beach driving capabilities. People were getting stuck so they caged it to 20PSI recommendation like other trucks. Then when people were getting stuck at 20PSI, they changed it to 31PSI.

Same changes with kick-turn environments. I get that they have to learn to evolve, I just hate having to pay the price for that process for them.
