There is information/videos on how to do it. I haven't watched them though. I have disassembled bumpers on other vehicles and it's a pain. Clips and tabs sometimes break 🤦.
If it is just glue, you can stick something to the sensor using silicone or double sided tape, pull it back to spot and...
That is not the camera. It's a parking sensor.
It should be an easy fix, if bumper can be disassembled. Likely something is broken, a bracket or sensor itself.
I suggest creating an appointment and ask in chat. Someone will get you real help. Mine is at SC and they have been very responsive the moment appointment was scheduled. They give me daily updates now.
But this needs to improve for sure. And they should start selling those pesky 12v batteries...
Do you recall the price?
I asked the service rep a few days back at SC and he said that lot of people are asking about it and they may do it soon. Nothing for now though. Idk how much information he has.
I am not sure about the slightly part. Just checked a random location along I5. Tesla had time based pricing, usually lower by 20 cents per kW, but higher by same amount during peak hours. So it averages out, but one could pay significantly less with Tesla during certain hours or vice versa...
It's a new vehicle with a lot of new things. It will have some problems and you should expect it. However you will get a loaner/rental from Rivian when things go bad. So, you can do it.
Less range in real world is expected, nothing new here. There will be an additional 10% hit on that reduced real world range, on 20s. 20s will have better ride, but will also have AT vibration through steering and the noise. 20s with AS is best, but Rivian won't offer that.
Everyone has...
Isn't R3 very similar to Ionq 5? Having said that similar vehicles can have different sales based on price, marketing, brand etc. Maverick/Ridgeline/Santa Cruz come to mind.
I think Rivian warranty was $10k for 5 years, it's offered in select states. That's about twice the XCare price. My info is old, so things may have changed.
Rear touch screen, driveshafts, shocks. I had these issues.
Also check if all vents are working and moving. Same with speakers, LED lights inside and out. I didn't have issues with any of these, but worth checking.
I think there are differences between G1 and G2. And it may be nuanced between highway and city.
I have G1 and I am happy with it. It's not too bad even when it's below freezing, about 250 was lowest with 75 mph freeways and mountains around Christmas time.
In 3.5 years, I have never used it. I did give it to family while they were getting their charger installed after buying a new Tesla. If you don't have regular use for it, skip it and buy something inexpensive.
I am sure company is legit. But how are the Rivian IPO shareholders doing? I am one. Overall, I didn't lose money, because of luck or skill or both. Most did lose money.
It's about valuation. Few years back it was EVs and now it's AI.
