R2 is launching as a 2027 model year. The HVAC comments confuse me too but Rivian told me that Launch Edition comes with Heat Pump.

Looks like max charging rate is also officially confirmed - 210kW DCFC and 48A (11.5kW) Level 2. This is pretty much as expected...

I had this happen on Thursday too... But I had been using launch mode, and the compressor was running a lot to get it into launch mode...
