the guys who designed the ones I showed being fit to GEN 2 used a cordless impact wrench to remove existing bolts and reinstall. They used a torque wrench to finish / fit them all back.

I was just at the fan shop that helped design and manufacture these sliders to see how the brackets line up for the Gen 2 R1T. They will be updating the brackets and soon have Gen 2 R1T compatibility.

Yes but some details on how would be nice :). Service tech indicated it will be limited to wheels / tires Rivian sells not pick size. Hope it is not the later.

I just need to confirm that in the next update I can update a Gen 1 R1S to essentially the 21” wheel to mimic the 33” vs 34” tire. (Or even better is just set it to 275/60/20!)

And I would add - you need to get 275/60/20 for 20” to get a lighter tire than the 275/65/20 which weighs more than the OEM.

That Hoodyear is the new Rivian OEM 20” AS. Curious if anyone has tried the HT version which in theory would be even more road friendly than the AT

Picking up our second Rivian Friday from Phoenix SC. Joining my 11xxx R1T Launch Edition will be a R1S Quad Motor, LA Silver, Ocean Coast Interior (no dark ash), 20" A/T Dark, Adventure Package w/ Tow Hooks. VIN 26XXX.

I plan to put a kennel on the platform so that would hold the 60 side up. would really appreciate the 60/40 dims, and the one that can stay in place!

I have MyQ and having the button on the Rivian it opens the door nearly 1/4mi away. I also can ask Alexa to open it. So not sure I need some additional integration. what we need is ability to add stops to in progress navigation, and general better navigation.

Rivian has charging in Dateland (or there is Fast Chargers there) if you are coming in from CA.

Day 3…. Can-Am Maverick X3 waited at the base after I took the family up the hill. informal race back up. Blew it away. Not sure if they even thought they could hang. a couple guys videoed it but they are locals. Sure hoping it ends up on YouTube or something.
