@r2fb Thank you for the information. Hopefully the new part is the one going in next week for me. And hopefully it will last longer than the first version till the lease is up.
I assume AEB didn’t activate based on your memory (human and therefore flawed). Also, AEB activates at 7mph. Not sure what speed you were at. And… “hard acceleration” in an AEB situation can override AEB. Does comma have the ability to accelerate the Rivian?
Thanks for sharing your stories! Makes me sad hearing these stories since I am planning on selling my Quad T in a few months. Don’t need two Rivian’s anymore and I can’t convince my wife to sell her Dual S and drive the T. I will probably be back in a T in 4 years once I stop paying for kid’s...
Hyundai is holding $230 currently on my credit card for a diagnostic fee in case my kid’s EV getting stuck in neutral is not a warranty issue. Also, they will have it 5 days before they can look it. The lowest common denominators of the world causes all of us to suffer.

My plan if our R1S with OEM 21” had an unrepairable flat was to use the OEM 20” AT spare in my R1T temporarily. Seems like 34” diameter is closer to the 33” tires on it than the OEM 30” diameter temporary spare. Only difference is that it has a TPMS sensor and I’m not sure if the temporary...
The last two used 15+ year old cars I purchased had the original spares in them. Small, non expanding spare tires were $200+ 5 years ago for a lightweight vehicle to replace (which I did do).
Lease rates for iX3 are out. I’d take an R1S lease at $799 per month $5,694 plus $1,895 down over the iX3 at $915 with $2,500 down. (Not sure about destination fee for BMW). Interesting that they come to about the same.
There is exactly one location in the second largest state in the US (Texas) along major roads that is more than 61 driving miles from 150kW charger. I take many road trips including towing my race car to AZ and NV.
