    This happened to me yesterday too. In addition my GPS no longer functions. I called service and tried a soft reset. It didn’t help. For some reason, I wasn’t able to do a hard reset. I have a service appointment in a week.

    I am getting an odd smell too, and am trying to determine the cause.

  6. New R1S Frunk is always hot and has a mild burning smell. Normal?

    My cabin smells at times when it’s hot in my garage or outside. I haven’t determined whether it’s related to the air conditionin. I was charging at 24 amps and my interior had a slight acrid smell. When I’m not charging, I notice the smell n the cabin intermittently.

    I get an update error upon starting installation from the app. “Couldn’t Start Update, make sure the truck is ready, then try again.” Any suggestions?

  10. Hot Florida garage…should I be concerned?

    I’m in Florida and it doesn’t seem to be an issue. You can always s open your open a door or window in the garage to create a breeze in the afternoons.

    Compared to what’s on the market, the current pricing seems correct. The EQS SUV, BMWiX, and Model X are all over $100K, depending on equipment. I bought my R1T partially for the novelty.
