I can confirm that the newer ones are actually beefier. The Broncobrace was designed for the older m14 tie rods and they won't quite fit (I had to get longer bolts) around my R1S 2023 build with the new ones.

As someone who vehemently argued that Rivian needs to allow AA/CP, I now wish all these posts would just go away. If you want AA/CP, get an EVPlay. The EVPlay is probably a better implementation than Rivian would do anyway.

I have that setup but put my RD as high as possible to the right (passenger side) of the Mobileye cover. I then put the comma 4 as tight as possible to the bottom of the cover (using a Janska slide mount). Not near my car right now but can take a picture later if you want.

Seems that if you're okay with the concept of ICE that this would be a better use case to get a Scout with Range Extender and use that to power the RV without ICE, which would be much cheaper and lighter.
