I mean, yeah everybody wants more, access to all existing chargers, and picking on tesla is cool, but as of Sep 2022, Electrify America had 788 locations / ~3500 chargers. So it's not really next to nothing.

From the whitehouse briefing (of which Tesla is just one small part, but good for headlines) . I think it's 3500 new DC fast chargers designed to support all EVs. It doesn't really indicate that Tesla is opening their existing chargers.

My truck is awake right now so can't test that, but I can still turn on cabin climate the same as before. I was kind of hoping for remote seats/steering wheel heaters but maybe that will happen when the truck OTA comes. Would be a bummer to wait until another update.
