Anyone successfully get the 2025 Innovative Motor Vehicle credit for a 2025 purchase? Mine was rejected. I posted in a related thread from the 2024 tax season if anyone has any suggestions or tips to offer over there. Thanks!
My 2025 DR 0617 was rejected. I filed it the same way @matt21484 did (see post). The reason for adjustment:
The credit has been disallowed. The Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) was not in the allowable range for the vehicle type selected. If you disagree, please provide all necessary...
I don't understand how the members of the transportation committee that came up with this think it is fair and push it forward. Members of both parties seem to be in favor of it. All I can surmise is that they want more money regardless of the means and some probably like the punitive aspects...
💯 If state and federal flat fees are fair then let’s apply them to every vehicle and remove the gas tax.
Please write your representative if they are on the transportation committee and let them know you want a fair tax that applies to everyone.
I encountered a similar problem at the Raton, NM supercharger in March. Initiated the charge using the Tesla app, plugged in but Tesla didn't start the charge. Then after a few seconds it kicked over to Rivian billing. I stopped charging and retried a couple of times. Then I tried a few...
@2kwik4u I went back and read that thread. The jerkiness sounds frustrating and perplexing when others don't experience it. I forget, did you experience it consistently on all/most road surfaces and speeds?
I have experienced a fore-aft oscillation a few times towing the Airstream and I...
I towed our ~7000 lb Airstream about 2300 miles in March and April. I used a Shocker 14K MaxAir hitch to soften the ride and help reduce shock to the trailer. I was really pleased with the smoothness of the ride.
I haven't done A-B comparisions with my rigid hitch, but I may do that this...
Following up on an old thead. I followed @Kaiju's and @Riviott's advice and loosened the screws when I was jacking the truck up to rotate my tires. Seems like it worked! I think the hole is still a little off-center but it is workable.
Had something similar happen on day 2 of ownership (wife’s ring), but item went below the cabin floor under the passenger seat. Depending on your situation, you may consider unbolting the seat and tipping it backward to get better side access to the center console. Good luck!
Hi @LindaC, I hadn't really considered the OPUS, mostly due to lack of awareness but also we weren't looking for the extreme overland type capability. We were favoring units without slides or popup/outs. Our Denver-area dealer actually has OPUS in addition to InTech and Oliver. I did look at...
@VSG While I agree with those facts, I don't draw that same conclusion because I had two similar drives but different regen experiences.
Without full data logging and knowing the internal Rivan mode logic I don't know if anyone can say for sure why regen was limited. I'll try to gather more...
