I keep my shopping bags and rescue gear in there so when I go food shopping a couple times per week, the frunk gets used.
Also, when my wife and I go out for meals and we have leftovers, I sometimes keep in in the frunk so the smell doesn't spread through the cabin.
I was at a Trader Joe's a...
+1 extended warranty.
Anytime you buy an expensive vehicle (to fix), you either get out when the warranty expires or buy some additional coverage. Otherwise, prepare to deal with some significant bills.
Playing devil's advocate, but if discount tire was the only one to touch the tire, how do you know it wasn't them that damaged it?
I suppose if the vehicle was never touched by anyone other than Rivian and you discover some damage, you could claim that's the way it was delivered.

Title says "maintenance costs pricing is high" then "I'm not complaining about costs?"
EV maintenance costs are a fraction of ICE vehicles. R1S is my 5th EV and in my other EV's, which were all 3 year leases, only costs were tire rotation and maybe cabinet air filters (Chevy wanted $120 for...
I don't go to the Grove that often and I'm not sure how much the "Caruso Signature" membership will cost, but "free" parking anywhere in L.A. is great.
Satisfaction is tied to expectation and some people have unrealistic expectations. Not saying OP falls into this category, but if you have realistic expectations, you won't be upset with real world outcomes.
My other car at this moment is a Porsche and I will admit they're willing to bend over...
I've leased several cars in my life and most of the time the residual price (for EV's) is set artificially high to lower the monthly payments. If the purchase price exceeds the market value of the vehicle, which I'm assuming is true in this case, might be better off buying a used vehicle along...
R1S was, and still is, the only EV SUV with enough room in the back to haul the stuff I need and also have off road capabilities. There might be 3 row EV SUVs and EV SUVs that are off road capable, but only the R1S has both.
The irony is I have yet to take the R1S for an off road shakedown...
I think it's 5 years required for section 179, which means at least 2.5 more years, but I'll probably keep it a little longer unless something major happens with Rivian or the car. It's been great so far and I have less than 11k miles on it.
