    I had this happen to me recently. Both screens would reboot repeatedly. Pulled over and did a hard and soft reboot. Seemed to fix the problem so far.

    I had to press the program button on the garage door and hold till the blue light turns on then press again so the purple led flashes. Then go to the truck and press the button up to 3 x genie 5500

    I have a gen 1 and my garage worked great then one day it would take several tries to open or close. Service ended up replacing the rear view mirror which contains the garage door module. Has been working since.
