Expect Gen 2 R1Ts to start appearing in the shop within 3-4 weeks.

My guide(s) told me last Friday that they expect to see base standard and max Gen 2 R1Ts in the shop within the next 6 weeks. They are currently building up Gen 2 R1S inventory.

"I cannot show you inside because the cap is not ready to be released yet." That's a strong indicator that Rivian is planning to sell these, right? Given the discussion here, I wonder if Rivian might be preparing to launch of a stripped down "tradesman variant" of the R1T?

Have there been any indications of when Rivian will begin production of Gen 2 R1Ts? I spoke to a guide immediately after the Gen 2 announcement and they said they expect them to start populating the shop with R1Ts within a couple of weeks, but haven't heard anything more since.

I would argue that their considerable investment in nuclear power is as much for geopolitical reasons as it is economic or environmental ones, if not more so. Energy independence is a huge concern of theirs in light of increasing geopolitical tension in the Pacific and the broader trend of...

I'd buy a Dual Max R1 with Ascend Trim ASAP if they offered it. I value range and comfort, not extreme performance, so a third motor doesn't appeal to me very much.

I'm curious if there are any power options - e.g. 12v outlet - in the frunk?

Do you think changes to the AC compressor location and firewall/bulkhead design suggest that the interior ventilation design has been updated as well?
