Turns out that, taking charging into account, you're better off driving faster. Total travel time decreases steadily up to over 100 mph. Less efficiency at higher speed...

Also, the upcoming A2Z Nebula looks like a good Tesla alternative. It's coming soon. It has a similar swappable plug setup and comes with several adapters for $350.
It's better because the different adapters automatically limit charging current. You slap the 6-20 adapter on there and it automatically sets the max current to 16 amps. The Grizzle-E seems to have no such protection at all and requires you to either change internal dip switches or limit current...

Why not measure and publish a few? Measure and publish flat-road, 60 degree efficiency at 40, 60, and 80 mph in addition to the conventional/combined city and highway numbers. It's a pretty easy measurement to do.
You do you, but RAN, Ionna, Applegreen, Chargepoint, EVGo, and lots of others have tons of CCS1 stations. Just seems silly to cut yourself off from that over a $159 adapter.
There are a ton of CCS chargers out there. I wouldn't want to be limited to NACS. I'd be upset if I was on a road trip, pulled up to an RAN bank, and all the NACS ones were in use but some CCS were available.

I ended up buying the Tesla one so that I could have a lot of adapters. I was in between doing that and getting a portable charger with selectable amperage and a handful of NEMA adapters (10-30 to 14-50 etc), but decided the Tesla way with proper plugs and no adapters, which automatically sets...
Seems like a solid Tesla Mobile Connector alternative if they release a few more adapters for it. 5-20, 10-30, and 14-30 are big ones. Maybe 6-20 as well.
