I saw someone ask but I didn't see you respond so if you did I apologize....was there any auto emergency braking from the R1T? I would hope so but seems like if so, the trucks sensors would have seen the bovine even at night and alerted you or started auto braking.
I don't believe you are correct. I am also in CA and have a few collector cars. They are insured with an agreed value policy which I know is not the same but depending on the vehicle and the carrier diminished value is real even in CA. Obviously the R1T is not a collector car (for now) so...
The same guy who won the other Cars and Bids auction at $124k is also the high bidder on another one that was just listed there also at $108k so I'm pretty sure he meant to bid. Not sure if he is a dealer and trying to reflip these or what but he also bid on a HummerEV that was for sale there...
The first R1T has been listed on Bring a Trailers auction site. I know of at least two others that have been listed on Cars and Bids auction site one which has already ended. Will be interesting to see where these end up.

No way will the prices keep climbing. The premium now is the highest it will be since only a few have been for sale. The more and more trucks Rivian delivers, the more people will have theirs and be able to sell if they want to prices will come down. I think the premium will continue for many...
It seems like Rivian has a bunch of trucks to deliver now. Glad everyone with March-April is getting notified (for the most part) that they are ready to start the actual buying process and schedule delivery. Got mine Tuesday night and have driven about 100 miles or so so far with zero issues...
I was told my truck was in delivery prep and that took 5 days before I go the email to even able to start the 8 steps. Did the steps on Friday and Monday and truck was delivered yesterday so it all happens pretty quick once truck is ready.
The only hiccups I saw were that if you didn't complete something such as insurance, the delivery portion just said error. It didn't tell you that it was held up because of insurance, etc., it just said error so I didn't know for sure if that was the problem. Their 8 step process should really...
My situation was exactly the same. I think from guide contact to delivery in my driveway was 12 days. If you get through the 8 steps, delivery seems like it's just a day or two away.
The crossbars are not available yet as I have those also. My delivery guide said they should arrive via UPS in a few weeks. Charger came about 10 days ago so I had time to install before truck arrived. I didn't add the first aid kit but it did come in the truck in the gear tunnel cargo stow.
I would contact your guide. I had similar problem with insurance and she got involved and set things up outside of the normal website. She was super helpful and communicative as far as that stuff goes.
Ditto on the tow hooks without adding the off road package. My Rivian delivery guy said he thought they were all included on the LE so no idea what's going on.
