Apple music library album art missing?

Has anyone else’s lost all the album art from your libraries?

This happens to me in Tidal, particularly after system updates or restarts. Switching to Spotify for about 20 minutes and then switching back always restores the artwork for me.

It has happened to me in the past. Sleeping or a reset usually fixes it.

My Tidal disappears constantly. I've given up trying to fix it.

We are on 2026.15.0 with the new Rivian assistant and still have no album art displaying in Apple Music. Anyone else??

I’ve given up on Apple and album art. I have never succeeded in getting it to stick. even when the art is displayed in the driver side widget there’s usually none in the main display. I don’t have this problem with Spotify. I’m probably going to drop my Apple Music subscription and stick with Spotify because the Apple app is generally clunky anyway, but it’s a missed opportunity because I was leaning toward using it when it first rolled out.

When this has happened, and when the app only plays about 1 second of each track before skipping to the next 1 second track....I park, sign out of Apple Music, then use the QR code and sign back in. When it rebuilds the library, the artwork and full tracks show up. (Of course it has to be convenient to spend the PITA time to do this, until then I also jump to Spotify....)

Also, when the Atmos seems MIA, in my user experience, it tends to be a weak signal, causing stream issues. When the buffer builds back in, the Atmos shows back up.
