I've wondered about that too. Here's some threads on safety rating / crash testing from what I've read on the Slate forums.I probably skipped over it, but how are these going to fare in a major accident? I'm way too bougie to drive around in something with absolutely no creature comforts, the same way I wouldn't be caught dead in that little Kia van type SUV with the squirrels driving. Is this little truck going to stand up in an accident against the 8000 - 1000# Cybertrucks, Hummers and R1T's driving around? Will something like this be safe enough to risk my child's life in? Hmmm....
