Hi all - i recently upgraded from a gen2 tri motor to a gen2 quad, each with the Super Sport staggered wheels from the quad and the Michelin Pilot Sport S5 tires. the tri motor had all-terrains from the factory and the sill sticker said 48 psi. the quad came with the super sports and the sill sticker says 44 psi. the owners manual did not specify and said to refer to the door sill sticker. so question: what do other quad with super sport owners vehicles say on the sill? what tire pressure are people running on the PS5 tires?

The Tri sticker was for the factory all-terrain setup. The Quad Super Sport package uses a different staggered tire setup, including a wider 305 rear Michelin with a higher 118 load index. That gives Rivian room to placard the Super Sport package at 44 psi while still meeting load/handling requirements. I would treat the Quad’s 44 psi placard as the best reference for the factory PS5 Super Sport setup, not the Tri’s old 48 psi AT placard.

Those are minimum tire pressures for the legal department. I run mine at 51psi cold as that would have lower rolling resistance and less sidewall flex. If I were turning laps, I would run them a little lower, like 46 cold to compensate for the heat and resultant rise in pressure.
I don’t track my car, so I keep it at the maximum. With 10,500 miles on the truck, I am starting to see ware on the outside edge of the front tires. I will be checking the alignment before replacing them. I suspect too much toe in.

have same QM R1T now for 7 mo and started them at the 44 but noticed typical sport tire "hopping" on first hard turn pulling out of driveway. that goes away by end of block...i pushed mine up to 46 for normal driving. agree if i were doing laps on a track etc id keep them at the min. 44 ....regardless I know ill be putting new ones on sooner than the first QM we had (2022) . but to me its well worth it for the driving experience ;) have fun and esp play with RAD modifications (not intending to move this thread away from subject!)

Follow what is on the sticker (for a factory delivered car with the same wheel/tire package you are using). What OEMs are required to put on the sticker is factory tested and verified during development. You can go a little over if you want, since no consumer-grade tire gauge is more accurate than ± 1~2 psi.
