I have pretty much had it with the stock Pirelli's that came on my 22"s for my Gen 2, Rivian R1T Dual Motor, Max Battery. I have nearly 8k on them and they are downright dangerous the minute we get any rain or precipitation.
I have been going back and forth on going with the Michelin Defender LTX M/S2, specifically in the 116/119 load rating versus the 115 load rating, or the Hankook ION HT in the 116 load rating.
I am leaning towards the 116/119 Michelins. My reasoning is that I live at high altitude and I frequently drive steep grades and curves on the highway at high speed. The 10ply sidewalls would flex less, even though I don't tow/haul, and more resistant to higher temperatures.
Has anyone had experience going with the 116/119 Michelin specifically?
