Just got my invite this morning. Day 1 reservation about hour into the presentation. I am 10 miles to a service center. Do not currently own a rivian. Also got the, "We’ll let you know when you can expect your order invite by the end of June, so keep an eye on your inbox." email. I am looking to take delivery in September when my current lease is up, so will hold on on the order for now.

Received invite and order submitted today, no est delivery date provided. Day 2 Reservation, Expiring Non Rivian Lease in Aug, not currently a Rivian owner.
also just to add: I had received the "we'll tell you when you can order by end of June" communication, so seems like the invitation waves are more fluid than I thought

I also have a non Rivian Lease expiring in Aug. I uploaded my docs in my account but did not receive a confirmation email and the option/ability to upload docs went away. I also don't see any indication in my account they received the docs, etc. Did you see any indication about the lease in your account? I called Rivian Sales yesterday but they couldn't see it either and said they would look and call me back, no call back yet.

Nice, I reserved mine within the 1st hour. Still waiting. I am a non lease / Rivian owner. Hopefully I can get my invite to order soon.

Ordered, Catalina Cove Launch Edition to replace my wife's cheap lease ($289.25) on a Chevy Equinox EV (ends in January but we are at 21k of the 24k lease miles, I didn't note the expiring lease when given the option cause felt like it was too far away), 1st day reservation, R1S owner.

Never got any confirmation that they got the documents, just saw the option go away. I don't know if that impacted my place in line or not.

Comment from my service rep regarding the R2 and demo drive in Ohio.
Day 1, first hour reservation. It will be interesting to see how long this gets dragged out.
I guess that explains why I don't see a single center in Ohio offering test drives and I don't believe they ever have for the R1S/R1T either.

R1T ordered Dec. 8, 2018. Delivered Mar. 2022 (Vin 1750). Still have it and an R1S. R2 reserved day 1, hour 2. 12 miles from SC. We're waiting for LIDAR version, so we're not ordering now.

Reserved with the link this morning - Catalina Cove with Coastal Cloud interior. Hopefully it's somewhere by the end of Aug but I imagine there's a decent list of people waiting for that interior.

I remember back in 2010-2012 the legal battle Tesla put forth with the Virginia Auto Dealers Association to build a service center and allow for deliveries. A the time, the actual purchase happened online so I guess that skirted the whole "but you're selling in a state where you don't have a license" thing. I still had to take delivery in North Carolina. But VADA tried to block even the service center. It took a courageous judge to make this happen and IIRC he received threats if he allowed Tesla to enter the state. It was UGLY.
As for my reservation? Well, you know that scene in Platoon when the guys are comparing how many days they have left, then they turn to Sheen and say... "Hey, Taylor. What's your number? 3 hundred and 30 something?" Yeah, that's me.

Glad to hear somebody in Ohio has gotten their order placed. Gives me some hope after just getting this from the service center. Hour 1 reservation here.
"As for the R2 we don't know when we will get one in. Currently in the state of Ohio we are not able to perform test drives or even show the vehicle due to not being able to get a sales license. Currently we can only deliver the vehicles in the state."
Still would love to test drive one, but looks like that won't be an option unless I go to PA.
