Guess I forgot to put this one in this thread. Less than exciting Tuesday afternoon so I'll contribute something instead of just complaining.

Drove like this from Louisville, KY to Buffalo, NY. No appreciable change to efficiency, but didn't ride great. Became very "floaty" at speed.

Bizarre. This had a huge range impact but improved ride quality for me.

Looks like yours was sticking up quite a bit more than mine. The Monster was just under the roof line, so I'm guessing it slipped under the airflow. Look how low mine is; almost the entire bike is below the roofline. Your fender is even with the roofline.

The ride was noticeably "plusher", that is to say it was generally smoother over bumps.; however it had a pretty decent amount of added "top heavy sway". I bet my Ducati is a solid 100lbs heavier than your Honda. I'm guessing 450lbs or so for mine. Things like freeway exit ramps had noticeable lean to the body that I wasn't used to. I had the suspension in "soft" the whole trip, so it might have gotten better with a different setting.

Just adds to the list of "Weird shit that is different for individual owners" on these trucks. Roughly the same truck and very different experiences.

I hauled my bike to the Colonial Beach Triathlon. Yes, a road bike will fit in the truck bed - if you remove the front wheel. I wanted to keep the aerodynamics good since it was a two hour drive to the race. And no, I didn't swim with the jellies. I wimped out.
