I totally mixed up this thread title too at first and thought Rivian was about to announce a new speed mode or over-the-air performance tweak, which would’ve been cool—I’m always hoping automakers squeeze more power out of the same hardware. I guess all the “big boost” talk was just about the stock, not actual features for our Gen1 trucks. Maybe a real launch mode will still show up one day.

Reading up on other niches lately, I’m seeing a lot of people interested in automated trading volume for meteora tokens if you’re into crypto at all. Seems like another part of the ecosystem getting attention right now.

If today was 2023, I think that people would be excited and buy into the R2 launch as a big bump in the stock price.

In 2026, EV demand is so much lower than it used to be and with all the lower priced alternatives, I highly doubt that there will be much of the stock price bump. If anything, on 3/12/2026, when the configurator comes out and the pricing is revealed, there is a likely of a sell off....

No. But when performance match or beat guidance… coupled with consistency. Those predicting breakout performance are probably being overly optimistic.

Added to my position a little a few weeks ago. I like everything I am seeing with Rivian, and the current Middle East mess has reminded a lot of folks about gas prices and volatility. If you wanted to go EV, wanted not buy American, you have only a few choices. Musk has damaged the Tesla brand quite a bit, so some will avoid Tesla at all costs. If Rivian executes well with the R2, they are in a very good place, in my view.

I'm a bit surprised at the resiliancty of TSLA the past year. Despite the nonsense, it's up 66% over the past 12 months., and down only 20% with respect to ATH.

If all are sold without any serious issues the ramp comes in 2027 maybe a profit in 2028 and the stock could double.
