I’m running Cosmo tires, less aggressive tread. Less noise and wear more evenly. Never buying OEM again.

I’m surprised no one has mentioned the Hankook Ion HTs. There aren’t a ton of reviews but what’s out there is all positive. They’re similar to the Defenders, much cheaper, and have a more aggressive A/T look (sort of) with the sidewall styling. I’m definitely going to give them a go once my OEM’s wear out. Great wet performance and 80k tread wear warranty too. Seem like the perfect fit for you!

I did earlier. I am just about to pull the trigger on a set. Not sure if I get the 21” set of wheels and get them at that size, or keep my 20” wheels. I love the look and comfort of the 20” tires, but am on the fence prioritizing range. Either way, seems like a great tire and price.

I replaced the OEM 20" Pirelli all terrain tires on my 2023 R1T with a set of Hankook Ion HTs about 2,000 miles ago. The Pirellis had about 12,000 miles on them. For street driving, the Hankooks are a noticeable upgrade. They provide a smoother ride, and my driving efficiency improved from 2.1 to 2.4 miles per kWh. I haven’t tested them off road yet, but I’d be surprised if they perform as well as the Pirellis did. The main trade off is that the Hankooks are a harder/stiffer tire at the same PSI, which is likely why they’re rated for 80k miles. The ride isn’t rough or jarring, but you can feel the difference in firmness. I paid around $1,100 out the door at Discount Tire for a set of four tires. I’d have no hesitation recommending them at this point, especially when compared to the $500-per-tire alternatives.
