  • Mountain Summit Gear Roll-Top Table - Large
Two small kids and two adults and we split sleeping in the R1S and the RTT. The kids LOVED the RTT and did a lot of hanging out up there. The UNP Tent was our "living room" and the Exped fit nicely in the back of the R1S with the 2nd row down. It was very cool having a two-story situation with the camp. I left it in camp mode so the UNP ended up being climate controlled. It was a RV site with electric hookups so we didn't need to make much use of the outlets, but the one in the back still came in handy to use with a fan.

The AirCruiser was easy to set up and take down, but you will need to climb on top it to get everything buckled. Both tents have tons of headroom. Overall 10/10 would camp again.

Children probably want to sleep in the roof top tent because it is like a tree house, and adults sleep inside the R1S because it is quieter, air conditioned, does not involve climbing at the orthopedic height, and allows children to develop their self governing behavior away from adults and not because adults want some time away from children like back in the day???

That might be the best argument for a RTT I’ve heard.

Loving the pics Justin!

Mind if we use them for our socials?

Out of interest, would you be interested in a branded SUV tent that matched the Air Cruiser styling? We have a pop up tent that we have been thinking of modding for this purpose.

Definitely - so it would have an electric pump like the Air Cruiser? Something that would be quick to set up/take down would be killer. What dimensions would it be? The UNP tent was fairly roomy, but it would have been nice if it was a little bigger. For reference this is the tent I used: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CJ8Y6RTP?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1

👏👏👏👏

Awesome, I can't wait to use all my AirCruiser gear this summer. Yellowstone in early June might be my first setup. Will 100% report back

Great setup! How much of a range hit (if any) did you take with the AirCruiser on the roof? I have an R1T but trading for R2 so just curious.

I haven’t measured it or anything but the battery projections when I am driving seem to be like 1% off now. There is also some noticeable wind noise at higher speeds.

Quick one for the wind noise on R1S, it’s the wind passing under the cross bar, if you wrap some bungee chord around the cross bar, it disperses the wind and the noise with it. Little hack but very useful
