The R1 LE Meridian system has more bass and clarity than R2. I signed into my Apple Music account and set the EQ to similar settings of my R1 and and turned on and off spatial audio, etc, and it just didn't have the punch or channel separation the Meridian has. I think they can improve it...
i'm not in love with them...they felt like plastic and haptic was weird... Not a deal breaker, but I much prefer the R1 setup. The wheel rotates some when you push in or towards you from the rear.
Just an fyi…Regarding the frunk button, you have to push and hold for a second for it to pop. With the button for the rear glass you do have to push and hold it seems for it to go down or up.
Also, door handles sound so much better than R1 vehicles. Cup holder was the only thing I had issue...
Yeah, the way tech is changing nowadays, I'm probably not keeping a vehicle more than 3-4 yrs anyway. Not the most financially sound decision, but I like latest and greatest. R2 for me is a holdover for R1 Gen 3 without air suspension. (One can hope)
Hell, my early truck's infotainment can barely handle moving from screen to screen...I damn sure know its not capable of hands free, self driving. :CWL:
I can't get my SC to replace anything but half-shafts when I go in. They tell me suspension is normal. What are you guys doing differently? lol. Ah well, trading for R2 asap before warranty is out.
