Rivian is scheduling open service tickets for Powered Tonneau Cover issues by end of March

Just had mine replaced via mobile (SA area tech is awesome!) The cover basically just has beefed up parts and is about 10 lbs heavier. The spring that helps moves the slats was revised and I believe the panels are more rigid to reduce flexing and getting caught up. He still recommended dry...

Who in CO still has a broken auto tonneau?

Nah. Its considered normal for the welded subframe apparently. I'm either trading in pending R1 updates or swapping for the R2 in a few years. Not gonna make a huge stink about it.

Who in CO still has a broken auto tonneau?

I had washers done twice, and just recently had half shafts AND hubs done via mobile (tech in SA is awesome) Quieted it down and feels smoother...I still have a clunk during heavy regen and then getting back on accelerator. That's subframe.

⚡️ Rivian announces: March Tesla Supercharger access & free NACS adapters!

You seem offended. I was merely giving those of you considering a third party adapter that Rivian hasn't signed off on food for thought. You are taking a small risk. That's all. No judgement.

R2 Photo Gallery - deep dive analysis

Center screen is definitely not as high as R1. And R2 probably has a digital rearview with a camera near that red center light. With rear window going down, there can be no wiper, as the rear top spoiler doesn't extend far enough to house a wiper like a 4Runner.

Bravo Rivian but now R1 is OLD.

Well, technology wise, yes....R2 and vehicles going forward will have faster chips and more integrated feel than "current" R1 platform. But updated R1 platform should be brought up to speed.

    Sixth R2 Teaser Posted!

I am just suspecting since there doesn’t appear to be a wiper that there would be a backup way (no pun intended) to see out. The Fisker Ocean went without a wiper and that’s how they worked around it.

    Vampire Drain - getting worse?

I have complained of VD in the past. Or was it ED? Whatever…real talk…I would lose 1%, then 2% after later updates….with latest update I am happy to say I lose nothing. Nada. Very happy. That is to say when temps are within 5 degrees of battery temp I’ve noticed no drain and vehicle...
