No, itās didnāt. I did get new hubs and shafts a while back and this helped eliminate some noises and ticks. I still get an occasional clunk when starting out if vehicle is facing downhillā¦if no pressure on shaft starting out it is smooth and just feel brake hold release. It is tolerances...
I waved at every Rivian I came across on my road trip to Crested Butte (So many Rivians in Colorado!) and they reciprocated with a wave or peace sign, even with my Texas plates. :)
Just finished a road trip to Colorado, and wouldn't you know it, within 3 hours from home, Texas roads were the ones to give me my first shining star on my windshield. The lightest impact did it for me. Annoyed....CX-5 took a bigger rock, harder hit 2 weeks ago and not even a chip.
I think itās new because not everyone will subscribe to the new Connect + maybe and many will lose the mobile connection. But true, it hasnāt been mentioned yet.
We all (some) suffered through the early days of Gen 1. With so many new parts and an entirely new electronic architecture, you are now a beta tester for Gen 2, unfortunately.
With this type of depreciation on a 2 yr old quad, who is going to pay $110k for the new one? Thatās crazy for a little bit of speed that no one can use on the street. I patiently await Rivianās price drop on the G2s.
Quantumscape setting up production with Volkswagen's PowerCo for solid state batteries. Hope Rivian can latch on to some of that production with their now very friendly relationship with VW.
