Purchase a new R2, does it come with a discount for charging at the Rivian Charging Network?

Tesla often has "limited time deals for new Tesla purchases with free Supercharging for three months or 2000 miles. Does Rivian do the same? If not do Rivian owners pay the same rate (50 cents+ per kWh) as non-Rivian owners? Have had flawless session with using Rivian DCFC stalls with my non-Rivian vehicle.

Rivian vehicles pay a lower rate at RAN. If you use a referral for your purchase, you get the first three months free.

We won't know anything about special offers or perks for the R2 until Rivian actually offers them for sale. That will happen no later than June. But they will have no trouble selling the 25k they plan to make this year, so no real need for additional incentives.

Yes, all Rivian charges except like 4 older ones charge less for Rivians than they do for other brands. I did an analysis of price a few months ago, and most Rivian chargers are less than $0.48/kWh for Rivian owners.

Membership can lower the kWh cost but still more than what Tesla owners pay at Superchargers-36-38 cents per kWh via Plugshare. Use of referral gets both parties free charging, until it expires. No equivalent of Tesla Supercharger membership thus far. Pricing varies pending location and time of day. Rivianroamer.com has a listing of all operating sites, live status and pricing.

All Rivians get a discount at RAN chargers. I have no idea why someone above claimed otherwise. However in the southwest I’ve always found that Tesla with a membership costs less than the discounted Rivian price, and only use those.

and I think you can just sign up membership for a month and cancel in case you need the discount for a certain travel period?
