Any way to know what kind of chargers will be going in?

I do wonder what the factor of safety on the tires / load ratings is. If it’s 2x-3x, it would be much different than 1.2x.

My wife decided she wanted the 22” wheels for the R1S, despite the tires costing $400+. Started looking into aftermarket tires in the 275/50R22 size, and the only ones I can find in the correct load rating are the General Grabber HTS 60 and a Nokian snow tire. So many great premium SUV tires...

Someone on Reddit reported a delivery with 20” wheels with AS tires directly from Rivian. Very curious to see what size this tire is if confirmed, but I bet it would be this one, which seems like the best AS tire for the 20” wheels:

I just realized how great this is for Explore preorder holders- Base price went down by $800 to make the manual tonneau included, but…. the powered tonneau is now available on Explore builds for $1500, just a $700 up charge from our old base price!

The base price is lower by the same amount, so the final price is cheaper if you don’t want any tonneau or the same if you add it back on.

Super happy they kept the option for Explore builds to add tow hooks for $300!

Funnily enough I have thought the same thing- do I want a truck that looks like a robins egg in pictures? I have also switched my config back to FG.

Does anyone know if EA can unlock these 350A chargers to 400A? Is that even something to hope for?

A serious perk of limestone in my book is that it doesn’t make the standard 20” look bad. Canyon red for example really calls for the dark wheels. I think the standard 20” works on limestone.

This is bringing back emotions like the pricing debacle. “I’m out!” “I’m back!”

Interesting, i guess I would really have to see it. In my head I picture like an old red corvette or thunderbird with the white leather and it feels like an old vintage look.

Im also a limestone refugee coming to RC. I much prefer OC to BM in a vacuum (and with configurator limestone) but feel like with RC I would have to go with BM.

Explore club, checking in! I too share your concern. I do take comfort in the fact that explore is still offered after they reviewed all their options and prices.
