Maybe not new, but certainly something more apparent to me (and possibly others) that never really setup or used Alexa. It feels crazy that it could get missed, it's EASY to replicate, and now it's clear it's not "just me" - several people here are seeing it.Hopefully we get some hotfixes for...
Seems similar. This definitely was where connectivity was not an issue. And if I immediately asked for the same address with the city and state,it would navigate to it without issue. It was only the multi-step clarification flow that seemed to fail to actually perform the navigation
the assistant voice specifically. The new navigation voice also has some issues but it doesn't make me feel like I walked in 5 minutes before closing and asked for a mocha latte 😉
Maybe I'm too Midwestern, but I've spent the majority of my life working at major silicon valley companies and I can't get over how absolutely "condescending, 20-something, LA/San Fran cashier who hates their job and hates you worse for making them DO their job" the Rivian Assistant sounds to...
Yeah, as I said, I may just be lucky in that, while it often hasn't been a perfect process, the outcomes ultimately come through. In your case, I'd feel the exact same way. Words are great, but words are wind, the results STILL need to match. I'm sorry it hasn't worked out that way.
For sure...
In every interaction I have had with service - regardless of the severity of the issue - I have found I get a far better response from them by simply remaining calm, dealing with the issue, and working WITH them rather than against them. And this isn't something I need to make a conscious effort...
Ok, finally got my unit in and I can confirm it fits over the charging adaptor dock that I designed (https://www.printables.com/model/1053871-tesla-charging-adapter-dock-for-rivian-center-cons)
It is a little snug to my memory card for drive cam, but I think it'll be ok
I couldn't believe no one commented on that sooner. It sounded horrible. And sure it's a prototype, it likely barely holds together and is meant for not much more than being driven on or off a trailer to a display stand, but still... I am SO glad they were only IN the vehicle for a few minutes...
I just watched this happen this past Sunday, motors went over 200+ and battery was heated as soon as I turned on climate in the cabin - I did not engage drive or anything just got in, turned on climate and watched vehicle information screen - motors immediately began heating and the battery...
I agree - I'm just saying I didn't do any research for 3rd party BECAUSE I had the means to scan and print. That doesn't invalidate the use case, it just means I have nothing to offer as far as guidance on 3rd party solution because my needs were met at this level
