This is just the thin end of the wedge. You've seen all the evidence of what would be a small innocuous dent on a ICE car of 5 years ago now resulting in a near write-off for these modern EVs. So when folks say how they're saving on gas money by swapping to an EV, the hand the gives also takes...
Someone walked away from it before ...hmmm. perhaps it was the suspension??!
I think it stinks if they give you a shit car and then say you lose your pre-March price if you don't take it.
Personally I'd say no thanks and take my business elsewhere.
Yeah, 100%. And perhaps listen to feedback from these Forums, then actually beta-test them for a few weeks before sending them out.
And whilst I'm at it (in case they are listening to us) can we have auto windows up on lock (like Tesla)
This whole thing has been a shit show from the start. If they’re going to cut corners and make it with cheap plastic, at least spend a few more bucks posting it with foam padding. It’s not like you can’t pass that cost straight through to us.
I can’t help thinking that none of this has been...
PR stunt. I'm telling you, folks who really need/use these kinds of trucks for hauling and working (like ranchers, builders) are not going to pay up for these EV trucks, let alone have the hassle factor of trying to charge them that'll take ages (and mostly with no pull thru for a trailer)...
I bought a set of Thule SnowPack mounts to put on the cross bars. That'll carry x4 sets of skis (poles, kids skis can fit in the gear tunnel).
Whilst you're driving with no tonneau, I wouldn't worry too much about the snow. The draft/wind will prevent your stuff getting too wet.
