Saw my third in person today. An older couple. The wife was hiding her face in traffic as people looked at them.
So much worse in person…which is an achievement in itself. The entire passenger side looked like a day at the north shore of Oahu. Just wavy as hell.
would you trade in your Gen 1 for a Gen 2?
I am sure some of you will or would regardless, but I am curious to see what people think regarding some sort of incentive and trading in before they really planned to.
I for one, plan on keeping my Gen 1 through the warranty. We do have a first day...
Good to know.
I had a trip to Bayfield, WI and our Airbnb didn't have a really great charging situation so I had to use an extension cord and try my best to keep the PC out of the rain. It worked the entire time, including in some serious downpours.
My Rivian goes in for the 7500 service Thursday and in a VM left on my phone regarding the apt, the advisor mentioned to make sure I bring my portable charger as there is an update.
I found this on the work approval:
" Clean portable charger pins and install 3 new seals "
Anyone do this yet?
With a BMW. They also fixed it.
It happens, especially with a start up.
You did hold them accountable and THEY FIXED IT.
People continue to talk about the price of the vehicle and compare them to legacy dealership based manufactures...which they are not.
Welcome to a start up.
How many times does this need to be covered?
Also, they are improving IMO. The biggest issues still seems to be the service on the coasts.
