I wonder if they wrapped it in one of their funky wraps and it is a test vehicle. I believe it had black 22s, and there hav been photos of a wrapped one that MAYBE appears to have a dark (potentially black) mirror?

Not sure on your case, since it involves something specific. My wife dropped by to take a look at colors, wheels, etc. and said they were very nice, helpful, etc. They sent someone out to open up a truck, let her sit in it, show her some details. She did not even ask, they just took it upon...

Agreed. It is a cool visual, but misleading in some cases. I believe he said it was done based on wheel base, not necessarily total length. One example, the Subaru Ascent (197’) is shorter than the R1S, however it is longer in the comparison above….

Is it? Bad angle, but these look like 22” wheels, the one on the carrier for sure had 21”. These very well could be 21”, but looks like 22” to me

This is really bad. What if you were someone who wanted to get PPF on it ASAP? For all they know you are immediately trailering it to get detailed.

for sure, I have 2 friends who ordered after I told them about it. I would bet many of these early orders are from people like us who spread the word

I honestly am not sure on the 22s (bright and dark), the ATs, and the dark ATs. I love them all. We are not off roading either, but we live on a dirt road in MN. Leaning ATs, my wife likes the dark ATs, so that is what we will likely end up with. BTW, your truck is beautiful
