When I had my boo-boo I was hoping for PDR but in Jan of 2023 that wasn't available and I had to go to Ultimate Paint in Highland Park, but they are an authorized Rivian repair facility so it was very expensive.
So then I wonder if you're able to get any recourse from Rivian if the harness is what caused all the errors and you could have lived with the cosmetic damages. Might be worth going back to them with the prognosis?
I want to reiterate what @Tango45 said (in a lot fewer words) that your issue is valid and I think we're all waiting to see what Rivian does to help you through this. Any of us could easily be in your situation unexpectedly, please keep us informed.

I missed the chance to vote, but I'm mostly impartial. What I have heard that might make me a no is that the CarPlay 2.0 wants to control the whole vehicle. It wants to unlock the doors, start the car, etc.

The only available NACS to CCS1 adapters are the A2Z and Lectron Vortex. You must order both of these from the brands directly. Any adapters you find on Amazon are not the ones you need at this time.
