i use my wheel cams when I need to park extra close to a curb, gives me views of both front and rear wheels on the curb side. You do lose the overhead view when doing so and need to select front or rear wheel cameras.
After reaching out to CS I’ve been told not to wash it or to let water intrude under that applique. So now I’m waiting for my SC to respond with an earlier service date. They’ve informed me that mobile service can’t address this issue.
I don’t know if water will leak in. I have not been through any rain. Normally I’d be washing it today but I’m concerned about the water integrity now with that lifted.
I put in a service request last night as soon as I got home and have an appointment for November 6th! Hopefully they can send out a mobile tech to fix this. Otherwise I’ll be driving a Duct taped R1S for the next four months!
I think I’ll just start taking it over to the local Rivian Spaces and...
Has anyone else had an issue with the front roof plastic panel coming loose? Question
I just returned from a trip to Mammoth Lakes from Santa Clarita, CA. Shortly after leaving the RAN in Bishop, CA a lout banging started, my 7 yo nephew who was traveling with us said “it sounded like a...

Any idea if they could just clone your card to a ring device and return the card with the new ring? I want to keep my cards in the event I ever wanted to sell my R1S with all the keys. A ring fitted to me may not be desirable to someone else.
My take from the article is to only use “Conserve” mode on highway or other trips where speed is fairly consistent and put the suspension in “Standad/Normal”. I also usually change to “All Purpose” on longer downhills to gain more regen from the rear motors.
Personally I wouldn’t trust a locking strap for a ISUP as all it would take to remove the board is to deflate it enough to pull it out of the straps.
That'll be awesome, I'm in Mammoth 3-4 times a year and have to charge in bishop enough to get around there and back. Hopefully I'll get my adapter from RIVIAN before my next trip in July!
I'm a 09/10/23 R1S delivery (listening RJ?)
They'll do the "Premium" in all blacked out like many have already done. So then those who've already put it on their own will already be "upgraded" to a premium trim.
