I truly thought I would be ordering my Quad today with a chance of R1X. I do like the color but when you have preorders in for an unreleased halo vehicle to intentionally stir speculation and hype before announcing a new color is a big marketing fail IMO.

I have been refreshing rivian.com, my email, X, FB, Riviantracker, and these fourms all looking for the next bit of info and have not seen anything yet. I dont have instagram so I hope the first notice is not there LOL. I feel extremely vested in this one as I have already committed to that...

I to have a LE quad and absolutely love it. I am even one of the few lucky one whos power T cover still works LOL. We will find out more tomorrow about the gen 2 quad but it probably is not worth upgrading from a LE as the retail is going to be more than 2x what most of our LE are currently...

I think a good solution would be an external Beta sign up. There are many of us like myself that would love to get our hands on the updates a week or two early and accept the inherent risk. Then after the public Beta testers have had the software for a bit send out the final version to those...
