Update: I scheduled delivery for October 3rd. Switching from limestone to launch green didn't seem to delay delivery much, although I agreed to 22 inch black wheels rather than 22 inch bright. Black mountain interior.

The limestone versions don't seem to have the chrome accents between the roof and the doors.

Do you know what your delivery window is?

The guide said that Rivian is batch processing R1S production by exterior color. Production of employee vehicles, though, is occurring before general production.

@kanandrum - Yeah, that doesn't make sense to me. The only thing I can think of is that GW is late on the list of colors to be manufactured.

My understanding is that any Launch Edition order holder can get launch green. To the best of my knowledge (and my conversation with the guide seems to bear this out), Rivian hasn't manufactured any production versions of the launch green R1S, yet. Absent a limited quantity of launch green...

I should add that my understanding is that anybody with a Launch Edition R1S order can get launch green.

MY R1S is a Launch Edition.

I received an email on Tuesday, August 16th, requesting me to confirm my R1S configuration - Limestone, 22" bright, black mountain (DC area). Rivian also assigned my guide at that time. I decided to change the exterior color to launch green and spoke to my guide about it. She confirmed (1)...

Could be the configuration. Mine is Limestone, Black Mountain, 22" bright. I might want to change the exterior color. Not sure how that might impact the delivery date.

Nope. June 2020 was when I pre-ordered my R1S LE. It was toward the end of the LE window.

My R1S LE delivery date was updated to August - September 2022 from July - September 2022, so not much movement. I placed my reservation in June 2020 and I live in the DC area.

I set up ACH transfers when I received the first Morgan Stanley email earlier today. When I received the allocation email, I confirmed my interest, then logged into my account via Morgan Stanley Online and initiated a transfer without a hitch.
