Absolutely, I had mine delivered directly to Rahal Paint Protection in early '23, and I don't think they like doing that sort of thing now. It sounds like Rivian is using location as one of the dimensions for R2 delivery orders.
Indeed it's live, you can enter your delivery address and you can opt in for Launch Edition or "Not Really." in the online account. No configuration to add yet as well as see on the main site the choices.
They didn't. Launch Editions just got a free upgrade (or downgrade) from 21 to 20 or 22, a wristband, option for Launch Green. Many Launch Edition vehicles were sold after Adventure Editions, it was weird.
I am so in. The Rivian UI is fantastic and my main gripe is not having Waze, so I’m unsafe by having Waze on a phone to refer to. Waze just can’t be beat by having the crowd-sourced data no matter how good Rivian is.
It does work with the 15 Pro Max. This is a great system. Buy Apple’s new pucks for future proofing for the fastest speed (… though I’d be happy to sell you my Apple last gen at a discount since I have a 16 Pro and the new picks can charge faster).
Does anyone know if you install the new MagSafe charging pucks that can output 25W w/ 30W charger that Apple released will deliver 25W if installed in this unit? Thinking I might swap one or both out if it’s faster in the Rivian.
Eh, but way too much sidewall on the 20 and I thing the kW rate is lower even with the same tire. Of course if you have 21s and switch to 20 or 22 you still have to buy new wheels
Mine only lasted about 15k before it was advised to replace them. I rotate every 5K, and when I brought them in to rotate at 15k they were ~3/32. I don't do a lot of long distance driving, so it's a lot of short trips that probably wears a fair amount.
Talked with Tire Rack. My tires are anticipated to arrive at Tire Rack in South Bend, Indiana TOMORROW and anticipates Discount Tire could install them in the Indianapolis area on Friday if I were ready. They told me they have 70 ish tires sold with 500 in the first batch.
