  1. The official beer?

    Gluten free too!
  2. Range Industries Gear Tunnel Slide

I just installed my gear slide and I'm happy with it, great quality! Has anyone found any bins or organizers that fit well on the slide? I use a lot of the Weathertight Totes from the Container Store, but I was wondering if anyone found something that was a great fit like the frunk bins I...
  3. RealWheels EV Horn Upgrade Kit - Review & Sound Clips Videos

Video instructions worked well, much easier for me to follow than the printed instructions, thanks! The bracket and pre-wiring was very well made and convenient. Sure, you could DIY a little cheaper but it would take longer and require a lot of tinkering and fitting; totally worth the small...
  4. Testing 120V AC inverter limits

Thanks for sharing - I charge my home batteries and monitor the same way when our power goes out!
  5. Towing a Teardrop Trailer with an R1S Quad (+ roof top tent RTT) -- Efficiency Log

Thanks for sharing all this! Nice rig too! I think for your baseline to be more meaningful, you might want to do a run to the park with only the truck (no RTT or trailer). I feel like using your baseline of 2300 miles isn't really comparable to that specific route you're doing with the camping...
  6. It isn't just Rivians with "weak" tie rods

Do you think it would be possible to order the tie rods as spare parts and field replace them? If so, what tools would be needed to get you off the trail? Obviously it would need to go to the shop after for at least an alignment, but if you're really off grid the tow rescue might be rough.
  7. Using the auxiliary pin in the 7-pin tow connection to provider 12 volt power to a small trailer

I'm also interested in tapping into this power for lighting and other camp things without keeping the AC inverter powered on via camp settings. One experiment I've considered running is just powering something off the 12v batteries in my driveway to just see what happens. Does it fully...
  8. Anyone else find it hard to wash the 20” AT wheels?

I use a car dryer to blow all the water out. If you don’t want to invest and have a leaf blower that works too! And if you have a compressor is another idea.
  9. Has anyone tried this? "Relay attack" to your own car

My bad. I should have viewed before commenting. I assumed this was like the “rolling code” thing vs encrypted Bluetooth. Yeah… might work :/
  10. Has anyone tried this? "Relay attack" to your own car

Isn’t all our stuff Bluetooth and this applies to RF, right? I didn’t watch the videos but am familiar with the general concern.
  11. Media sound always toggles off

Is there a way to submit bugs or are you just talking about a regular ticket? Thanks!
  12. iKamper Mini for sale

Can't help with your RTT, but make sure you get all your accessories - cross bars, floor mats, camp speaker, flashlight, air compressor kit, first aid kit, etc -- throw it all in a UPS box if you have to. You can either resell it or give it away. Sorry about the truck and hope you're ok!
  13. Newbie Duh Charging Question

Just click the fan icon in your app 20 minutes before departure. You can schedule it too if you know what time your leaving.
  14. Newbie Duh Charging Question

I’ll add- if it’s cold, try to garage park so your battery isn’t cold soaked. Cold batteries are inefficient (below freezing). If you’re able to plug in overnight, pre-condition the battery 20 minutes before a longer drive using your app to maximize range. Unfortunately, the battery only...
  15. Newbie Duh Charging Question

The charger rivian gives you with the truck is maybe 17 feet so in a standard garage you probably don’t need the extension cord. Nice to have but big and heavy. The two dryer andapters are more important.
  16. Newbie Duh Charging Question

I think the important and cheap things on the list here are the dryer adapters if you’re staying in home rentals. Nice list!
  17. How to fix seat rattle or ticking - solved!

Mine had that SC fixed it first try. I think they add some foam under the speaker grill. I've heard some people temporarily put foam or weatherstripping between the windshield and dash and it helped until their appointment.
  18. How to fix seat rattle or ticking - solved!

Mine did sound like it was the back seat too -- likely due to the location the sound comes out the back of the seat and is muffled by the seat bottom for the driver. This takes like 2 minutes- so it's worth a shot!
