Actually doubting Rivian will be there at all, despite the (photoshopped?) picture. Rivian has announced their next show appearance, just not when ('sometime next year').
That seems kind of backward. The poorer the driver, the more need to activate autonomous features. They seem to be doing the opposite.
Maybe Rivian engineers have been tasked with quota of patents to be made in Rivian's name? Dunno.

I bought a Toyota RAV4 EV in 2002. I'm not new to the 1st gen thing.
When Panasonic won their lawsuit blocking Toyota from using their batteries (NiMH, not Li-Ion) Toyota bailed on EVs. I never heard of anyone managing to put a Li-Ion pack in one of those early RAV4s.
That is my only 1st gen...
