Yeah exactly on point, with R1S especially. If it's a family hauler like for me, it would help to get a feel for seats and interior.

Back in the day(2016) when I was picking up my ModelX, Tesla delivery team had let me drive it first to my satisfaction ( around the SC) before signing on the dotted line.. this won't be my first time picking up a vehicle without test drive nor will it be my last :)... like I said in the post...

So I have a delivery window or March-April '22 and reached out to CS for any updates. As we were discussing through different topics, I brought up about a "test drive or demo or whatever you wanna call it" before delivery and CS said " Hopefully very very soon, we will get you behind the wheel...

For doing the right thing, I might place another order for an R1S. For sure I think there might be others thinking the same which will help Rivian in the long run

Request all big supporters/defenders of price hike to cancel their current pre-orders and place a new order to support Rivian during these stressful and troubling time of inflation :giggle: just for giggles... Nothing personal and please don't get all fussy about it...

I live about 3 hours away and scheduled for March/April Delivery, no test drive or any kind of communication from rivian either..crickets...

That's nice, I ordered Nov 2018 and hardly heard anything from Rivian till date... kinda disappointed with their customer outreach but ?‍♂️
