    Through wifi data transmitted, for that reason rivian enable wifi while driving, previously wifi on only when its in park.

    I guess another 2 to 3 years of software updates for Gen 1 ,then They will stop updating Gen 1.

    I will be missing in GEN 1 R1S will be Auto lane change & Lane centering with adaptive curise control in any road. Maps need lot work to compete with Google maps. (To aviod use phone and trust rivian Nav)

    EPA 40 miles extra , real world highway may be 30 miles extra, towing 20 miles extra compare to large pack. 10 k is not worth may be 4k

    I will preorder R2, If service centers are opened near my location as long as with in 1 hr ! For R1S I need to drive 3+ hours , I can't relay both car 3+ hours drive to service centers.

    My only concern after owning 6 months of R1S is long road trip because of CCS network reliability and Charging Times for big battery(inefficient EV as well) are longer.

    Either way you need carry adapter! If you convert to NACS and plan to use CCS you need adapter. I will buy adapter CCS to NACS, if rivian is converting
