I believe that madgrey and fbitz777 have the right idea. Based on their input, I've changed my methodology.
Previously I reported:
After Update: 5 nights, 84 total hours, 1% total loss, 0 total miles estimated range loss
Temperatures in the 50's.
The 0 miles lost is because I had one...
I've had my R1T for almost two weeks and I have been tracking overnight losses. I have an early 2023 (PN0006XX), and ambient temperatures have been in the 50's and 60's.
Pre-SW Update: 4 nights, 47 total hours, 3% total loss, 10 miles estimated range lost
After Update: 5 nights, 84 total hours...
No, no, you mean something is not "Normal". (Sorry, couldn't resist.)
I received a PM from a person who had a theory that Rivian reset their R1T sequence when they rolled from 2022 to 2023, built a few hundred vehicles, then resumed the previous sequence. He had a very reasonable sounding...
I have had two first drives, one with a T, one with an S. I got the second one by stopping in at the Sacramento service center. I wanted to take another look at the color choices. When an employee came out, she gave me permission to look (but don't touch) the vehicles that were staged in their...
I don't know if I'm lucky, or if this is the start of a new policy. My EVSE shipped the same day I was assigned a VIN. I won't see my truck for 6-8 weeks, but I have plenty of time to get it installed. I really appreciate it.
With permission of an employee, I walked through the main group of vehicles. Many had tags indicating they were ready for delivery. I think the customer vehicles to be serviced may be parked separately. It was fun seeing so many variations of color and wheels. I also saw a truck unloading a new...
I stopped by the South Sacramento service center yesterday. There must have been 50 R1T/R1S parked and staged for delivery. I hope you all enjoy your new vehicles!
This was also an interesting article posted today...
If you have a set of 20's and a set of 21's, can you use one of the wheels from the other set as a limp-home spare? Or would the truck computer go bonkers because it thinks the 'spare' is slipping, because of it's slightly different radius?
There is a RAN station planned for Cal Expo. I don't know when it is scheduled to complete. If you take Business 80, it will be right off the Cal Expo exit. It'll likely to be free for a while, like the rest of the RAN network...
In May, when RIVN was below $30, Soros bought call options for about 6 Million Shares. Looks to me like he's taking some short term profits. He still has about 17.8M shares.

The Soros fund also increased...
That is very generous! I would love to have the opportunity to come and admire your new truck.
I don't see a way to give you my contact info without posting it in the clear. Is there a way to send you a PM?
Thank you for your reply. I finally had my drive a couple of weeks ago. I should have reported back before this. They did let me go on I80 for one exit. Made me want more! The signup was for a one hour slot, but most was taken up by the walk-around. I think my total session time was about 40...
Another datapoint for us. It looks like the new Chevy Blazer EV will have an option for 21 inch wheels. That may be a reasonably high volume vehicle. I don't know what the weight rating on the tires will look like, though.

The LT features a monochromatic appearance and standard 19-inch...
Currently, I've configured the 20ATs, but my truck hasn't been built. I live in the Sierra Nevada foothills, so there is a huge area with limited charger availability nearby. I'm trying to decide if an extra 30-40 miles of range is enough to matter for my use.
I also proposed the test because...
