Currently, charging on long road trips is absolutely more of an inconvenience versus gas, no matter how you try to spin it. That’s just a fact.
With that said, I love my Rivian.
Agreed. My proximity locking rarely works when I’m out and about. For example, coming back to my truck (LE Gen 1 R1T) after getting groceries, and I have to grab my phone out of my pocket in order to have doors unlock. Very frustrating.
- The ability to skip back on a song 10 to 15 to 20 seconds using the left click button (hold in).
- Gen 1 suspension is way too noisy, clunky, rattley, etc.
- A/C vents don’t stay in their last position. Seems they have a mind of their own and I am constantly having to redirect them (I’ve done...
Agreed. I also think that when you disengage it after getting back into the car, the A/C settings need to return to exactly how they were before you engaged PetComfort Mode. Right now, when you disengage, AUTO remains on and at high speeds. Everything should return to how it was.
My R1T is over 3 years old. I’ve had quite a few rattles and brought it in a number of times. Haven’t spent a single cent.
I’d push back on that for sure.
FEATURE REQ: We need a way to rewind a song ~10 to ~15 to ~20 seconds. Ideally by simply holding in one of the left steering wheel buttons. Much easier to do this versus scrolling on the bar through the song pop out window. I’ve submitted this request a few times to Rivian feedback through the app.
CarPlay isn’t even that great anyways. I prefer my Rivian’s interface way more than CarPlay. I’m glad Rivian is staying strong with their decision to not use it. 🙏
I love how the cooled/heated seats still aren’t fixed regarding knowing which setting to be automatic. It’s 106° here in Arizona and my truck is recommending the heated seats. How hard could it really be to fix this issue once and for all?
